I’m on a journey of awakening to the sacred and re-membering myself into the more than human community of life. It’s a journey out of cultural amnesia, and I take it step by step.
I bring my eco-ministry deep immersion experience in Seminary of the Wild over the past year. I walk with the Christian mystic tradition and with the Mahayana Buddhist tradition, seeing that the inner journey of compassion and stillness is deeply connected to how we live and operate. I know without a doubt that we all have a sacred heart inside that waits for us and guides us.
I too live in Mohkinstsis (Calgary, Alberta) on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, and the Métis Nation (Region 3). I humbly honour the journey of truth and reconciliation and the listening from the heart that I am called into at this time.
