Join Christian and Buddhist practitioners and beginning meditators of all kinds to deepen your practise of meditation and centering prayer. 

Monday/Fridays: Sarah Arthurs will host a Lectio Divina style of meditation with Lenten passages:

  • March 7 Luke 4:1- 13
  • March 14 Luke 13 31 – 31
  • March 21 Isaiah 551-9
  • March 28 Luke 15 1-3, 11-32
  • April 4 John 12:1-8 
  • April 11 Philippians 2:5-11

Tuesdays: Bob Campbell, meditation instructor and former past national president of the Canadian Mental Health Association will lead us in walking meditation.

Wednesdays: No Sits

Thursdays: Jess McNally, a Buddhist practitioner and member of the Tergar Institute will be leading our meditation.

"I am drawn to the opportunity to practice/gather in community with the intent of sitting 'for the planet.' Jess does a wonderful job of making our time together approachable for everyone because the time is guided. She has offered different ways of approaching meditation time, which I appreciate. There are a few minutes to connect at the beginning, and then to share experiences at the end, which I like. Once a week is easy to commit to and to make a part of my life.
