Originally from Vancouver, BC, Canadian poet kjmunro cultivates poetry in the incomparable Yukon on the traditional territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council.
Also known as “Yukon froghat,” kjmunro is a member of Haiku Canada, the Haiku Society of America, the League of Canadian Poets, & the Federation of BC Writers. kjmunro is Membership Secretary for Haiku Canada.
Her publications include her debut poetry collection, contractions (Red Moon Press, 2019); Body of Evidence: a collection of killer ”ku, co-edited with the late Jessica Simon (Catkin Press, 2017); and two leaflets with Leaf Press: waiting (2017) and summer evening (2013).
